A logo design for the Georgia Tech Triathlon Club
As a member of the Georgia Tech Triathlon Club and an industrial design student, I am happy to contribute to the club in any design related areas. Creating a logo for a triathlon club is a bit of a challenge though. It seem like nearly every club has a picture of someone swimming, biking, and running, which becomes monotonous, and to simply type out Georgia Tech Triathlon Club in a fancy font takes little to no effort at all. I decided to make it my goal to create a logo that would hint at the multisport aspect of triathlon and could also be unique to Georgia Tech. The result is an abstract representation of the stripes on our mascot, Buzz, and three of them to represent the three disciplines of triathlon.
This is the direction I am going although the logo is still currently in the works. Below are some more variations that I am playing around with and one just for fun.
