Biography

Hi, I'm David.

I'm a soon-to-be-husband, a triathlete, and a designer. Currently, I'm at Georgia Tech pursuing my bachelor of science in industrial design and a certificate in marketing. I let my experiences, interests, and observations drive design. This is one thing I love about design: the result is always as unique as the designer, or team of designers. There is a certain level of emotion and empathy that connects me, as a designer, with the projects I work on and the people I work with. This excites me. I have heard design described as "the act of giving a gift" and I couldn't agree more. Design reminds me of a little child asking, "what should I draw for you?" Then, to the best of their ability, they draw whatever you asked for, add a personal touch, and present it to you hoping only for a smile indicating satisfaction. A designers greatest reward may be exceeding the users expectations and seeing their appreciation for the design.
